Finishing a 30-day Compass Live pass? This is how you keep going, with the same drills, plus the monthly call, the community, and the full library.

The script was right there. Then the buyer said something it never covered, and for a few seconds you're listening to yourself stall.

What Compass gave you

Objection Compass taught you to clarify a hesitation, find the concern underneath it, and choose a fitting response. You have a way to find out whether the concern is price, trust, or something else, then choose your next move.

You can keep applying it on your own. Influence Mastery Lab adds live feedback and regular practice as you use the method.

Cognitive Sales Systems - The Five Levels of Mastery

Aaron's Cognitive Sales Systems model describes five levels of how a closer works a call. Each level describes a shift from relying on rehearsed responses toward adapting to the conversation in front of you.

  1. Novice.

Your confidence lives on the page, and remembering your next line takes most of your attention. You're building the foundation to deliver clearly when the buyer asks something you didn't rehearse.

  2. Scriptsmith.You're here

You can carry the script, but the script still carries the call: you sound polished until an unexpected answer pulls you off balance. You're a capable performer learning to follow the buyer's meaning when the conversation leaves the route you rehearsed.

  3. Improviser.

You're an adaptable closer who can stay present, ask real questions, and respond when the script runs out. Your next step is to recognize which thread matters, so a good conversation leads toward a clearer decision.

  4. Conversationalist.

You're a guide who can follow the buyer, hear the hesitation beneath an answer, and keep direction when the call takes a detour. Your questions have a purpose, and you can bring the conversation back to what the buyer needs to decide.

  5. Author.

You're the architect of the buying conversation, shaping how the buyer understands their problem and choices before the call begins. You carry that frame through the entire experience, connecting their priorities to a decision they can understand and evaluate.

IML starts with the move from Scriptsmith to Improviser. Ongoing practice and feedback help you keep developing your judgment as new situations come up.

What it's like to be the Improviser

You've watched a closer do it. The buyer says something nobody planned for, and instead of scrambling, they pause, ask one question, and the call turns.

It looks like talent from the outside. From the inside it's a skill: you stopped listening for your next line and started listening to the buyer.

That closer doesn't dread the objection they didn't prep for. A silence after a hard question is information to them, not danger. When the call changes direction, they change with it, because the script is something they carry and no longer something they hide behind.

How the drills work

Each drill call is built around one technique. The coach sets up a scenario, a buyer says something, and you respond out loud. Then the coach runs another round as a game, so you try the technique more than once in a single session.

Everyone in the room takes turns practicing, and you learn from watching the other closers work through the same technique. You practice the move before you need it on a live call, so it's easier to reach when a buyer goes off-path.

Cameras are on, and each call runs one hour.

If you're not sure

"I don't have time for two calls a week."

The two weekly drill calls run one hour each. You also get a monthly Implementation Call and a quarterly Hot-Seat Review. Every session is recorded so you can review what you miss. Join the live drills when you want to practice and receive feedback.

"I'm not sure I'm ready for a room like this."

The drills are built for closers who've worked through Compass and want practice using it live. Everyone practices, everyone takes turns, and the coach sets the scenario. If that's you, you're who the room is for.

"I already have Compass. Do I need this?"

No. Compass works on its own. IML is for closers who want coaching, regular practice, and a group working on the same skill.

"Is this another script library?"

The vault has scripts and templates. The reason to join is the practice and feedback around them.
